Hi,

Upgrading my server, I am using 'yum install xxx '
Each time, the server is looking for the package over internet

How can I force the yum installation to look for only the DVD ??

I want to force it where I want to look for.....

thanks and regards,
Steve,

yum -y localinstall package_name

or make a set of repository definitions in /etc/yum.reposity.d that refer to the DVD.

Kind regards,
