Hi,
I'm getting mad, trying to configure a two nodes cluster with RHCS. I
started about two weeks ago.
On the first node everything seems to work in the right way: cman,
rgmanager, qorumdisk and so on start. "clustat" give me the list of
the nodes and of the services (httpd, vip, filesystem).
On the second node, instead, I can see the nodes but I can't start the
services. I'll try to explain what happen on the second node.
The command "service cman start" hangs (at infinity) on "starting
fencing". Having a look on cman's init script, I found that the
invoked command is "fence join -w" (so with the "wait" option, wich
"wait until the join or leave is completed"). If I stop the "service
cman start" with a "ctrl+c" and make a "fence_tool dump", I get a
"join error: domain default exists".
I also notices that it hangs also with the command "group_tool".
With a strace on "fence_tool -w join" or on "group_tool", I notice
that both hangs on
connect(x, {sa_family=AF_FILE, path=*"groupd_socket"}, 16
Any idea or suggestion? Thank you.
Have you been able to resolve this? I'm banging my head against the
wall as well. I have support but I'm reluctant to call RHEL just for
the sake of it.
If I just run "fence_tool join" the command completes. Maybe if we
modify the cman init script it will work?
